PERSONAL STUDY

A) In a world of stress and problems why would it be important to take the time to rest and reflect on God? How can this help us as a society and individual cope with our problems?

B) Notice that marriage was created before sin and that God called them to fill the Earth. The Lord set up a home (Eden), a job (take care of the animals), and then the call to fill the Earth. In our lives what are some of the needs that God provides for His people before and during marriage?

C) Because there was no one else, why would it be a bad thing for Adam to be alone? In our life what is something we can do single and things we can do in marriage?

D) The Bible looks at a marriage as a joining of two people. This means both partners represent each other. They become one in that if one hurt so does the other. If one is happy then both are happy. Even in our society, we make it against the law to incriminate oneself. This means that married couples cannot be forced to testify against your spouse. Knowing all of this, how should we treat each other in marriage? If a person is single what steps can they take to prepare themselves for marriage.

E) Knowing you are created and not formed by accident, what is your purpose in this world? Why are you important for this current society and time?
