| Prelude to Restoring: Part 2 |
Restoring the Fallen is a Bible study on the ministry that God inspired through Hosea. The main goal of the prophet was to
change the behavior and mindset of the Israelites in both the northern and southern kingdoms. Hosea was speaking to God’s
people to alter their actions and deeds. Prelude to Restoring is a four-part series as a foundation and setup for the book,
“Restoring the Fallen”.
1} What was Jesus commission to His disciples?
Matthew 28:18-20
2} The mission to make disciples and relay the gospel was meant for all people. Even Christ when speaking about the end of the
world gave a sign in relating to spreading the gospel. What was it and how can we be invigorated from this message?
Matthew 24:4-14
3} While in church Jesus was explaining His mission and who He was to God’s people at that time.
Explain the message Christ had for the people and their response.
John 8:12-59
4} Jesus, when speaking to people in a synagogue (church), was having a hard time at imparting truth to the religious leaders.
This wasn’t outside in the world, at a whore house, bar, or some seedy place but in the church. Nevertheless, Jesus had to
share this message. It’s not always tough, but why can it be a struggle to share truth and knowledge with religious people who
have their own belief.
5} The main scripture for the Men’s Bible study group comes from Jeremiah. What message was given to Jeremiah for the
political and spiritual leadership of Israel?

6} After Jeremiah’s message what was the people response to him, and what did Jeremiah say to God?

Jesus and Jeremiah’s example they were met with hostility. Knowing this what does it take to become a disciple for God and
communicate an important message to His people regardless of the outcome?
