Men's Bible Study
Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But His word was in mine
heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

JUST A THOUGHT
Everyone understands there’s good news and bad news, yin and yang, positive and negative, action and reaction. This chapter
relays there will be blessings and curses depending upon a person’s behavior and actions. The Lord is clear as to the blessings
that will come if you follow His commands. If a person upholds their part of the covenant, then God promises to keep those
blessings flowing. Look at the ones listed in this chapter and study them. Hold God accountable for similar promises and blessings
that He made on a personal level. The Lord is more than able to uphold every single one. As a matter of fact, God wants to bless
and give His people what He has promised. However, as with the beginning of this thought, there is a counter point.
After the blessings are given, the Lord then states what happens if a believer does not hold on to their end of the deal. There are
a variety of curses that will come upon the individual as well as the group. Many people are living in the curses, ticked off, and
angry never realizing that it is due to not upholding their end of the covenant. God made a promise to bless, if we complete his will.
But if we chose not to do it, or neglect out of laziness then the curses that are listed could come upon us.
Don’t live in the curses but live in the blessing. If there is something God wants, then do it. Make sure to live life in a matter that is
pleasing to the Lord. He knows who is doing their best. This is not only for doing His work, but also living the lifestyle God desires
to become the person He wants us to be, and having the character intrinsic to what He has commanded. There are two sides,
which one will be chosen.
