| The Covenant House will receive proceeds from Foundation of the Fire. Foundation is all about helping people become better then what they are and to me Covenant House exemplifies this philosophy. There are a variety of ways that Covenant House is making their community a better place. They have been around since 1981 doing great things in the city. If you are in the Charleston West Virginia area, The Covenant House has a wealth of programs and services. They have a Drop-In Center open on weekdays from 8 to 4 so you can get the resources for help. On certain days, they have a Food Panty and Clothing Closet. Also, there is an Emergency Assistance for financial needs plus Housing Assistance for those in need of shelter. Covenant House also have a service in helping people get HIV testing and offer a support group as well. If you desire to quit smoking, please see their smoking cessation programs. As you can see, they offer a lot and can be of help if you need it. |
