| Huntington City Mission will be receiving proceeds from Foundation of the Fire. Because this is a religious book, I needed at least one organization with that background. The Huntington City Mission is a Christian group who believe in helping the community through a variety of means. They are in Huntington, West Virginia, which is close to Charleston. There overall goal is to become a resource for anyone who is in need. This is a big reason why they were chosen as an organization to receive proceeds. Listed on Huntington City Mission’s site are varieties of services they provide to the Huntington West Virginia community. One of them is emergency shelter and Project Hope for those in need of a home. Also, they have Food & Meal Programs for people who need those resources as well. They are a religious group so they do have Spiritual counseling for people who desire to have a closer connection to God. There are adult education programs and a summer camp as well for the young people. Regardless of what you might need please contact them now for assistance. |
