Walking Miracles will receive proceeds from Foundation of the Fire. The truth of life
is that Cancer will touch the lives for most people. Because of this, I believed that
Walking Miracles was an important organization to help and put their cause out to the
community. They specialize in youth and adolescent cancers, but also believe in
helping families get to the nearest treatment centers. The great thing about Walking
Miracles is that they help people throughout most of West Virginia.

Walking Miracles actually provide different services depending on your needs. One
service I love that they provide is to help people who have just recovered from
cancer. Often we think of people needing help while they are going through
treatment. However, often people are also in need after as well so they can live
healthy lives and be able to help other young people who are going through a similar
situation. One cool program is the Country Roads Travel Assistance. What this
means is that if you need gas money or hotel stay for your family member to get
cancer treatment, then they help you with those finances. Often we do not think of
the little things like gas, but if you live hours away, it is not easy to go back and forth
and expenses like gas and hotel is very important to the family.
