Habitat for Humanity in Georgetown, Guyana is the international organization

Habitat for Humanity was chosen. I know that H4H is a great organization who helps
build new homes for those in need. Having shelter is a need for all people. An
organization like this is essential to all people who are in need. This includes those in

Georgetown is the capital of Guyana, a South American country in which English is
the primary language. Georgetown isn’t only the capital but the largest city in this
country as well. The reason this city was chosen is its similarity to Charleston. What I
mean, is that Charleston is the capital and largest city of a state but in of itself is not
that large of a city. Georgetown fits a similar profile. After finding the city, I was
thrilled to learn of Habitat for Humanity involvement in the country. H4H is helping
people with having shelter and building a home for those in need.
