| The Erie City Mission will be receiving proceeds from the novel, Repeat Offender. The desire was to have at least one charity outside of Pittsburgh to be represented. Erie was a great city to help and the Erie City Mission is the perfect charity. They are in the mindset of helping people with their needs so it was important to make sure that a nonprofit like this has the resources to strengthen their community. Erie is a medium size town on Lake Erie north of Pittsburgh and sits evenly between Ohio and New York. In the novel, one of the characters needed help but turned to the wrong sources, which ended up being detrimental to his health and wellbeing. Why not send someone to a good source so you or them can be able to live a productive life and overcome the situations that are harming you. Look at ECM’s site for the list of services and see if you can help or send someone who might need them to give that boost in life. |
